SOURCES & CONSENT

Start with an authorized source.

Check consent, artifact availability and upload limits before processing a conversation.

Field guide

A calendar connection is not recording permission.

With an eligible connected Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom account, review and import a permitted transcript. Availability depends on the provider, organization policy, separate permissions and source retention. You can also upload a source you have permission to use. Calendar access alone never authorizes recording.

Review an upload before processing.

Supported file types and a 24 MB limit are shown in the upload flow. For audio, provide a duration estimate and review processing usage. A successful upload means the file arrived; it does not mean transcription or summarization has finished.

Resume an interrupted transfer.

For resumable uploads, select the original file again. The app compares its size and content hash and sends the missing parts. A different file with the same name is not accepted as the original. Expired or removed uploads need a fresh transfer.

Control retention and consent separately.

Raw AI source files normally expire after 30 days; abandoned uploads expire after one day. Saved private note attachments have a separate policy: they stay until the file, note or account is deleted. A raw-file expiry does not remove a separately retained, consented transcript. Withdrawing source consent prevents new in-app access to that source and its derived answers. Previously issued download links expire within two minutes, and files already downloaded cannot be recalled.
