CALENDAR CONNECTIONS

Connect the account you mean to use.

Understand calendar permissions, multiple accounts and reconnecting.

Field guide

Start in Settings.

Choose the provider you want to connect. Read the permission screen and confirm the external account before continuing. Signing into meetings.day with Google or Apple does not automatically connect a calendar. An unavailable provider option may still need secure service configuration or approval.

Check the account and its permissions.

Calendar access depends on your provider account, selected calendar and organization policy. A read-only calendar does not become writable when imported. Recording and transcript access require separate availability and permissions.

Bring over the details you need.

Google and Microsoft connections can also import saved contacts and unfinished tasks. Choose the extra permission, open the import preview and select the records to keep. The import creates private local copies, preserves date-only deadlines and skips previously imported records. It does not send invitations or write changes back to the provider. Notes and notebooks are separate from this import.

When a connection needs attention.

Open Settings to review the account’s status and last successful sync. Reconnect when permission expires or is withdrawn. During a temporary outage, your manual work and permitted cached meeting details remain accessible. Avoid creating another copy of an external meeting while the result of an earlier request is uncertain.

Disconnect deliberately.

Disconnecting stops future synchronization through that account. Imported meetings are retained locally unless you remove them. The result indicates whether provider-side token revocation was confirmed; local disconnection is not proof that an external event was deleted.
